Chess 66

Chess 66 is a mini chess game played on a 6×6 board.
Four starting positions are included, and all of them can be freely edited.
Create your own setups and enjoy new ways to play.

Rules

• Pawns cannot make a double-step move. En passant and castling are not available.
• The pieces a pawn may promote to depend on the selected starting position. For example, if there is no queen in the initial setup, promotion to a queen is not allowed.
• Stalemate results in a draw.
• The game is drawn if the same position occurs three times.
• All other rules follow standard chess.
